Lauren Vandenberg, PA-C

Lauren is a board certified Physician Assistant with Kalamazoo Foot & Ankle Specialists in Portage and Three Rivers, MI.

Lauren is a native of Northville, MI. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University (WMU) in Kalamazoo, MI. During her time at WMU, Lauren was a NCAA Division I Collegiate Gymnast and served as a team captain her senior year.

Lauren returned to WMU from 2018-2020 where she graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Science in Medicine, Physician Assistant Studies. During these two years, she served as the WMU PA Program’s Class President for the graduating Class of 2020. She became a board certified Physician Assistant one week after graduation and accepted a her first position as a Podiatric/Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Physician Assistant with Kalamazoo Foot & Ankle Specialists immediately after. She has been working with Dr. Maskill since August of 2020 and has roles in the clinical setting as well as being first-assistant to Dr. Maskill in the operating room. She recently accepted a position at Western Michigan University as an adjunct faculty member at the College of Health and Human Services where she assists Physician Assistant students with their didactic and clinical rotation education.

Lauren considers it a privilege to have the opportunity to work at a team-oriented practice where all of our patients are treated like family. She has been a loyal, reliable, and trustworthy member of our team since day one. We look forward to many years of her continued service to our patients and community!

Outside of work, she enjoys watching sports, exercising, spending time on the lake with friends & family, and traveling!
