Anna Whitaker, RN, BSN

Anna is a Registered Nurse and Orthotic Specialist with Kalamazoo Foot & Ankle Specialists in Portage and Three Rivers, MI.

Anna is a native of Geneva, IL. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Michigan University (WMU) in Kalamazoo, MI. During her time at WMU, Anna was a NCAA Division I Collegiate Gymnast and served as a team captain her senior year. Anna’s collegiate gymnastics achievements include MAC Conference All Around Champion (2015), MAC Conference Vault Champion (2017), Second Team All-MAC (2016, 2017), and she currently holds the Program Record for Highest Score on Vault (2017). Anna was honored Academic All-MAC in 2015, 2016, and 2017.

Anna has been practicing as a Registered Nurse since 2017. She began her nursing career at Beacon Health System in South Bend, IN, as an Inpatient Oncology Nurse for three years. She then transitioned from bedside nursing to an Outpatient Gynecology Oncology Clinic, where she worked for a total of four years. After seven years in Indiana, Anna and her husband, Josh, made the decision to move their growing family back to Southwest Michigan.

Anna officially joined the KFAS team in December of 2024. She operates in the clinical setting as our Practice Manager and is specialty trained in Custom Molded Orthotic Fitting & Adjustments. Anna is an extremely kind, hard working, and reliable individual both in and out of the workplace. Her remarkable care for patients and dedication to our team is truly unmatched! We are so privileged and honored that she chose to make KFAS her new work home. We are equally as excited to welcome her as Kalamazoo Foot & Ankle Specialists’ very first Registered Nurse!

In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband (Josh) & their two daughters, extended family & friends, spending time on the lake, doing Pilates, cooking, and reading!
